Is This Britain’s Most Haunted House ?

What was seemingly an innocent enough looking house, has turned abandoned after a series of short lived residents fled from the house. The British Police Force even reported there where ” Evil Forces ” lurking in the house. Children’s shadows moving all around the home night and day, Knifes thrown and stuck in the various walls and objects. The longest lasting tenant only lasted 4 days ! One thing is sure this property is now abandon for good reason but it is defiantly not forgotten.
39 De Grey Street in Hull, dubbed ” The Hostel” has been considered as one of the most haunted houses in whole country.
Previous owners have seen children’s shadows dancing around at night, even once coming out of the fireplace. Another dragged out of bed and strangled by ” Evil Forces “.
Haunted House Is Hull
The current owner Andy Yates, said : ‘ I lived in the house myself, i came downstairs to find steak knifes balanced on the plates in the drying rack.’
‘ I’ve tried to rent the house out a couple of times, but the longest anyone has lasted is four days. Some people couldn’t return after measuring the house up for furniture’
‘ I once saw a child’s shadow come out of the fireplace and hover for about 15 minutes. When i eventually plucked up the courage to move, it disappeared back into the wall.’

‘ The cupboard under the stairs is quite notorious as well, with lots of mediums saying they believe children had been locked in there’
‘ When i put the house up for rent, a women who had lived there 24 years ago contacted me on Facebook. She told me she had been dragged out of bed and strangled but when the police turn up they told her off and that it was all just a hoax.’
‘ Just as the police where leaving the house a bookcase fell on them. They ran straight out.’
So what do you do when you have a house so haunted you are unable to live in it ? You rent it out to ghost hunters. Although the only team to date to enter didn’t last very long.
During there stay objects where thrown, doors slammed shut and people were physically sick.
“The activity started the moment we got inside,” she said. “Things moved and three people even vomited. There was this amazing feeling of sickness that came over us.”
They even caught, using night vision what seems to be a face.
