Builders See Naked Figure In Haunted Basement
So we have two builders renovating an old creepy prison house. In a typical fashion they dare each other to go down into the black basement. The one who actually went down there still regrets it to this day. But lucky enough for us he had a camera.
When the two men picked up an easy renovation job in an old derby house, they thought nothing for its haunted reputation. They would hear bumps and bangs, see flickering lights or hovering mists. In short all of the standard haunted location activity.
But as any two lads would they started to mess around. Daring eachother to go and spend time down in the basement, which seemed to be the most active.
“See how long you can stay down there for,” one contractor, Tom, says to the other.
“Ahh… no!” is the immediate response.
Well eventually the softer one gave in. He ended up in the basement and lasted a whole 30 seconds ! Armed with his phone in his hand he begins to try and make light in the dark. That is defiantly a move he regrets.
Naked thing caught on camera
Tom posted the video online recently, sharing the footage, trying to find an answer.
“On our dinner break we decided it would be a great idea to make a video of us (well my friend) venturing into the cellar, or basement for the Americans. My friend is the one filming it,” he told Reddit. “Now he is ALWAYS playing practical jokes on people, but when he came running up the stairs he was white as a ghost. All he did when he stopped filming was replay this video…”
The clip starts as many other “paranormal” videos on the internet do, with fluttering orbs (just dust) and spooky mist (probably breath, or the other guys secondhand smoke), and then it he sees it in the corner and darts upstairs.
It wouldn’t have been uncommon to see naked people in these old cells during the time it was an operational prison. Old prisons in general are among the most haunted buildings in the world as a direct result of the endless pain and suffering.
“I am as skeptical as the rest when it comes to this stuff ,” Tom said. “But when you are a witness of something like this yourself, it’s safe to say your mind soon changes!”
A Lot of people quickly had an opinion on the video. Some speculated that it was simply a vagrant or they had set it up. Other armchair analysts even found what they believe to be another bystander in the clip, shrouded in a dark cloak.
Fair enough it could have been someone they know. But if you are a good judge of character you can see these are just two normal blokes and if they are acting they easily out do Tom Hanks or Nicolas Cage ( time for a career change ? )
Or this could easily be a homeless man, who incidentally chooses a reputedly haunted building, sits down there stark naked all day without even so much as a sneeze…..
I think we are to take the lads on there word, and thank tom for uploading this rather terrifying video.
