Ghost Hunting at Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach.

Pleasure Beach is well known as one of the most active locations in the region, with thousands of new people to terrify everyday and the massive amount of power used to power the machines, if the theory follows then the rides are not only attracting the living visitors.  

The Ghost Train. 

The Ghost Train is ironically very much haunted. The ghost is heard walking around, the former employee “Cloggy”, so named because his favour of clogs over shoes, is often heard walking around here. Especially at night or when the park is closed. When the train is in motion people have also reported seeing a smiling old man waving at them when they pass. Knowing the quality of this mannequin far surpasses any other on the ride, they then question the operator who is only to quick to tell them, ” Its just old Cloggy “. Creepy ass ghost train.

Although a waving old man and the sounds of footsteps is not creepy enough Cloggy’s loves to mess with the electronics. All equipment here is said from time to time malfunction, especially the skull on the arch above the tracks. Even when the ride is powered off, staff have seen its red eyes light up….. Lets just hope that is just the skulls eye’s.

The Cellar and Bar above. 

Those working at Pleasure Beach will always tell you that the basement in the park is the coldest on site. Many who have ventured down there have felt a leering presence, and he has been seen walking around both in the cellar and in the bar.

Shadows are seen in the same area, the shadow seems to resemble that of a stout man. Pictures have been seen moving on the wall, the dim voice of a women singing aswell as the lights switching themselves on and off. Which is normally followed by glasses being slid of the bar.

The Gift Shop.

The Gift Shop is home to regular poltergeist activity. A’lot of the items here are seen to swing on there pegs,slide across a display counter, or be pushed off the shelf. Staff are so used to this activity that if anything falls they simply pick it back up. The giggles of a little girl have been heard here aswell as the apparition of her. Light footsteps are heard all over the little shop, sometimes running… 

The Ice Rink.

The most haunted part of Pleasure Beach, and the darkest… It is home to the most disturbing occurrences in the park, as such staff wont go there alone because of the dominating presence said to be in there. At night when the park is closed the ice rink has a atmosphere of inexplicable terror, aswell as the sound of someone still skating…

Doors here are known to open and slam shut of there own accord, staff will lock the doors with a padlock every night to close up and often come back to find the padlock open.. and on the floor. The malevolent presence down here is also known to flick the lights on and off and move objects when it sees fit and most often when people are alone and vulnerable. 

Both visitors and staff alike have told tales of being tripped on the ice, as if skating into an invisible foot, or pushed only to turn and find nobody there.. But perhaps most disturbing are the nightmares reported of being trapped in the ice rink with a large man watching them struggle
